Zelma S. Hunke, 84, of Robinson, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family Saturday Dec. 12, 2009. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Zelma was born Jan. 31, 1925, in McGregor, to Jim and Mary Belle Sutton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Zelma researched the family tree to leave behind a written history for her loved ones. She also left for her family all the cherished crocheted gifts she spent hours creating.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Harvey Hunke; sons, Harvey Ray Hunke and wife, Janice, Charles Hunke, and Fred Hunke and wife, Debbie; daughters, Linda McCoy, and Janet Lightford and husband, Glenn; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and life long friends.
