WC Green

WC Green, 78, of Hewitt passed away peacefully at home with his family Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
WC was born January 25, 1943 to Sol and Beatrice (Bowman) Green in Madisonville, Texas. He attended grade school in High Prairie Hill and Normangee, Tx. Later his family moved to Mart, Tx where he attended Anderson High School. WC served his country in the US Marine Corp. He married Margie Anderson on January 5, 1969 in Prairie Hill, Texas. WC worked as a truck driver until retirement. He enjoyed working in ministry with Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and driving for the Regional Building Committee (RBC). He loved football, especially his Mighty Mart Panthers, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and five sisters.
WC is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie; son, Ron Green and wife Emily; sisters, Maxine Green, Clarissa Miller, Majorie Green, Eunice Hall; brother, Ray Green wife Mary; in-laws, Dorthy Anderson, Cynthia Lawerence, Samuel Allen, wife Tambra and Joe Allen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friend, Frank Gilton as well as a multitude of friends.
