Thornton “Rusty” Albert Lee Newsome III, 40, of Waco passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th Street, Waco. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Thornton “Rusty” Newsome born May 31, 1975. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Newsome; sons, Dalton, Adam, Rusty, and Colton; daughters, Allie and Cloe; mother, Irene; three sisters; and one brother; three grandchildren. Rusty served in the Army and fought in the Iraq War. He was proud to serve our country.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 in memory of Rusty.
