Thomas Woody

Thomas L. Woody 89, of Waco, passed away at a local hospital, Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Services will be 1 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Thomas was born, May 7, 1926, in Iredell, TX to James and AZ Woody. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, during WW II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a Mason in Waco, for over 50 years. He was a long time member of Family of Faith Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Katie Woody.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Alice Murphy; nephews, Roger, Paul and David Murphy; niece, Rosalind Jordan; numerous friends and extended family.
