Steve Castillo

Steve Castillo, 58, of Valley Mills, TX, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at home with his family by his side. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, TX. Visitation will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, at Pecan Grove Funeral, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Steve was born in Waco, TX, February 15, 1965, to Esperidion Castillo and Anita Lopez. He was a hard-working man, whether it was at work or at home around the farm with his chickens. More than anything, Steve enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was greatly loved and will be missed.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Esperidion Castillo, and his daughter, Sara Castillo.
He is survived by his wife, Francisca Loera Castillo; mother, Anita Lopez; brothers, Chris Castillo, Pete Castillo, Daniel Castillo, and Martin Castillo; children, Anna Pickle, Frances Polk and husband Anthony, Abel Segura, Samantha Segura and Nathaniel Olivarez, Fernando Segura; and many grandchildren, other family members and friends.
