Shirley Ann Holdbrook Sovey

Shirley Ann Holdbrook Sovey, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 84.

She was born on April 3,1941 to Leslie and Coralee Holdbrook in Stranger, TX.

She devoted her life to her family as a loving home maker known for her warm hospitality. She found joy in cooking, baking and filling her home with delicious meals and cherished memories; her kitchen was often the heart of family gatherings where she shared not only her recipes but also her love.

She is survived by her husband Henry Wayne Sovey of 60 years and 9 months. Her son and daughter in law Sam and Tracy Sovey, her granddaughter Victoria and her great granddaughter Keira, her sister Gayle and many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, August 20th at 9:00am, Rosemound Cemetery on South 12th Street.
