Sharon Harvey

On Thursday, August 20, 2020, Sharon Whaley Harvey died peacefully at her home in Waco, Texas.
Sharon Lee Whaley was born December 5, 1946 in Gatesville, TX to Orville and Leona Whaley (Phillips). After living in Killeen, Hawaii, Ohio and Indiana, Sharon moved to the Waco area in 1972, where she settled in, raised her children and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up.
Sharon was a beloved wife, loyal sister, loving mother, adoring Mimi and faithful friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends more than anything.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim and Mike Whaley.
Sharon is survived by her husband John, brothers Larry (Billie), Steve (Gilda) and Jack (Kathleen) Whaley, sister Diana Wolfinger (Guy), sister-in-law Lucille Whaley, children Janee’ (Robin) Griffin, Jimmie Weaver, Jr., Steve (Jennifer) Weaver, Mike (Wendi) Weaver and stepdaughter Dawn (Jon) Pierce, her adoring grandchildren Dylan, Grace, Jake, Brinley, Madelyn, Wyatt, Aaron, Charlie, and her close friend Jimmie Weaver, Sr.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the medical professionals that attended to Sharon: Dr. Brown, Dr. Speckmiear, Dr. Encarnacion, Dr. Norwood, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Freemyer – to name a few – and all the wonderful staff at Waco Cardiology.
