Sandra Standridge

Sandra Lynette Standridge (Austin), age 65, of Golinda, Texas passed away October 31, 2023, at Seton Medical Center Austin, Texas after a long, courageous battle with heart failure. Visitation for Sandra (Sandy) will be at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm.

Sandy was born in Hamlin, Texas on August 6, 1958, to Billy Charles and Joyce Lynette Austin.
She attended school at McAllen High School. She married Gordon Standridge on July 08, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

One of Sandy’s greatest pleasures was spending time with her grandchildren, working in the yard, and making her house a loving home. She loved to go RV camping and assemble puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Fred Foote, and brother-in-law Albert Fox.

Sandy is survived by her husband Gordon of Golinda, her children Crystal Hoey (Scott) of Nacogdoches, and Jason Hoyt of Lufkin, eight grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn and Pat, brother, Robert Austin (Margaret) of Waco, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
