Sam L. Holle

Sam L. Holle, 82, of Lorena, died on August 8, 2026 in his home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13th at Robinson Cemetery.

Sam was born in Waco, on March 18, 1944 to Walter and Vanita Holle. He attended school in Lorena, Texas and was a graduate of the Lorena class of 1962. He attended East Texas State University and obtained a degree in Agricultural Education. He spent a few years teaching and then started his own pest control business where he was self-employed for over 20 years. Sam was an expert in the field and traveled all across the state making sure his customers were always taken care of.

Aside from his career, Sam was a father and grandfather. He was so proud of his family and always made sure to keep them laughing and entertained with his stories and jokes. He made sure everyone he met knew about his son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids and how much he loved them.

Sam is survived by his son, Jeff and wife Cynthia Holle; grandchildren, Rachel and husband Colby Chapman, Rebekah Holle, Walter Holle, sister, Julie Ann Holle, and many other friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Walter and Vanita Holle.

Sam will be greatly missed.
