Ross Sterling Guy Fogle, Jr., lovingly known as “Mickey,” passed away peacefully at his home on October 3, 2025, at the age of 66.
Mickey was born on September 12, 1959, in Waco, Texas, to Ross Fogle, Sr. and Lois (Buchanan) Fogle. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until a medical discharge brought him home. On July 6, 1990, he married the love of his life, Lorrie Edmonds, at Harris Creek. Together they built a life filled with faith, family, and devotion.
Mickey’s life was a testament to compassion and love. He was well known for sharing the gospel, living his faith openly, and reminding everyone he met of the power of kindness. He never held a grudge, always chose forgiveness, and was quick to help anyone in need.
A true fan of all things sci-fi, Mickey enjoyed the adventures of Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel heroes, and even the world of Transformers. Yet, his greatest joy was not found on a screen but in the laughter and love of his grandchildren, with whom he cherished every moment.
Mickey leaves behind his devoted wife, Lorrie; son, Joe Fogle; extended son, James Hill; granddaughters, Coraline and Anya Fogle; sister, Carla Petty; brother, Mark Twain Fogle; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family who adored him. His legacy of faith, compassion, and unwavering love will live on in their hearts forever.
A visitation service to celebrate his life will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with US Navy honors promptly at 4:30 p.m.
