Roberto Romo, Jr.

Roberto Romo, Jr., 71, passed away on September 19, 2025. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, at Family of Faith Worship Center, 4112 Memorial Dr, Waco, TX 76711, with Pastor Ruben Andrade Jr., officiating. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Elia, and their children: Gualfredo Romo, Tracy Finley and husband Trent, and Perla Alverado and husband Gregory. He was a proud grandfather to Elias, Arianna, Princess, Anthony, Krisalyn, Jayvin, Taylor, Ty, Brennan, and D’Angelo, and blessed with nine great-grandchildren.

Roberto is also survived by his sisters Susie Walker, Luisa Olivarez, and Janie Felan, and his brother Guadalupe Romo. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and his beloved dogs, Snowball, Gogo, and Peso.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Alice Ordonez, and brothers Joe and Barney Romo.

Roberto proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved making jokes and spending time at home with his family.
