Robert Kenneth Crowder

Robert Kenneth Crowder of Waco, TX, age 65, passed away on June 20, 2026. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Robinson Cemetery.

Robert, who was affectionally known as Kenneth, was born June 6, 1961 to Jack A Crowder and Margie Mercer Crowder in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a 1979 Irving High School graduate. Ken met the love of his life, Janie Sammons Crowder, in high school and they were married for 46 years. Ken worked behind the scenes at the local television stations before transferring to production positions later in life. Ken enjoyed hunting, cooking, music, and movies. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Dena Crowder.

Ken is survived by his wife, Janie Crowder of Waco, TX, his son Justin Crowder and daughter Julie Crowder of Waco, TX, grandsons Aiden and Ethan McDonald of Waco, TX, his parents, Jack and Margie Crowder of Lott, TX, his brother Jackie Crowder and wife Patricia Crowder of Rosebud, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Crowder, Aiden McDonald, Jason Crowder, Don Wilganowski, Mike Parker, and J.C. Sammons Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Crowder.
