Ricky "Rock" Alvin Mahoney
Ricky “Rock” Alvin Mahoney, 72, of McGregor, TX, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Rock was born March 13, 1954, to James Wesley and Bertha Annie (Leck) Mahoney. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He worked most of his life as a drywaller, sheet rocker and painter. He loved to go fishing and being with his grandkids.
Rock was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Wayne Conner, James Wesley Mahoney, Jr., and Ronnie Mahoney.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Mahoney; brother, George Mahoney; sisters, Gwen Bickford and husband, Rod, and Pat Reed; kids, Priscilla Shortacy, Thomas York, and James Glover; 12 grandkids,14 great-grandkids; and close family friends, Bud and Gail Gunn, and Michael and Emily Lacasse.
