Richard Lehrmann

Richard Lehrmann of Riesel passed away on March 20, 2023.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Drive, Waco, TX. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riesel Cemetery with Pastor Clint Salmon officiating.

Richard was born in Marlin, Texas to Monroe and Gladys Lehrmann. He graduated from Riesel High School and began working immediately. Richard had officially retired on his birthday last year after 40 year career. He and Jeanne met on a blind date in 1996 and were married 10 weeks later. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary last month.

Richard dearly loved spending his free time with his grandkids, great-grandkids, and other family members. He enjoyed time in his shop, taking care of his chickens, buying toys for the kids and drinking his Keystone.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son Richard W. Lehrmann and wife Lesley of Kerrville, daughter Renee Moore and husband Jason of Axtell, daughter Kristeen Lehrmann and fiancé Brennan Pierce, of Riesel and daughter Starla Richter and husband Matthew of Riesel; grandchildren Dallas and Dakota Lehrmann, Krystine Bragewitz and husband Gage of Columbus, TX, Austin Moore, and Owynn and Kal Pierce; great-grandchildren Charlee Marie and Weston Bragewitz. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Austin Moore, Brennan Pierce, Matthew Richter, Shane Howard, Kevin Hogg, Jeremiah Woods, and Cody Kennan. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Stewart, Robert Beltran, Les Fryar, Ronnie Renfro, and Jerry Pierce.
