Richard Angel Colin Garcia

Richard Angel Colin Garcia, 36, of Waco, Texas passed away on December 13, 2025. Richard was born on January 09, 1989 (along with his twin sister, Ashley) in Waco, Texas to Marcella Shelton and Ricky Angel Garcia.

Richard was deeply loved and will forever be missed by his mother, Marcella Shelton-Chavez, his loving wife, April Garcia and his siblings, Aaron, Brandon, Ashley, Destinee, Ricky, Ricky Jr. and Lilly, along with his nieces and nephews. There was never a dull moment when Richard was around, his laughter and his smile would light up any room he entered. Richard's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants. Richard was a child at heart, and he loved the movie The Lion King, with Simba being his favorite character.

Richard is survived by wife, April Garcia and stepchildren, Anthony and Jordana; mother, Marcella Shelton-Chavez and stepfather, Mark Chavez; father, Ricky Angel Garcia; siblings, Aaron Moreno (Courtney Meek), Brandon Moreno, Ashley Garcia -May, Destinee Shelton, Lilly Ramon, Ricky Garcia Jr., and Ricky Garcia (Nacho). Nieces and nephews; Gabriella, Ayden, Ziah, Journey, Joseph, Josiah, Giorgio, Isabella, Levi-James, Clarence-Jayce, Brandon Jr., Leo, and Enzo. Along with numerous aunts ,uncles ,cousins and friends.

Richard is preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Dr. Samuel H. McClendon; paternal grandparents, Josefina Cruz Contreras and Santos Fermin Garcia.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 12, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Cruz Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January, 11, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Moreno, Brandon Michael Moreno, Ricky Angel Garcia (Nacho), Kendrick McClain, Daniel May, and AlexZander Castillo.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Lee, Joseph Lee, Levi- James May, Clarence – Jayce May, Brandon Moreno Jr., Giorgio Moreno, Joseph Moreno, and Josiah Moreno.
