Raymond Gomez

Raymond was born on January 14,1936 in Waco, Texas to Gorgonio Gomez and Clara Martinez Gomez. He grew up in Satin, Texas and later Waco, Texas where he attended and graduated from Waco High School. In 1960, he married Mary Lou Pecina in Waco, Texas. In 1965 they moved to Los Angeles, California where they lived for 52 years before returning to Woodway, Texas in 2018.

While in Los Angeles, Raymond and Mary Lou were very active in two church organizations in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles; the Cursillos de Cristiandad and Movimiento Familiar Cristiano Catolico where they served on the financial committee for close to 35 years.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Lou, brother Manuel Gomez, sisters Cipriana Gomez, Victoria Gonzalez, Sr. Dionicia Gomez, FSJ., and Sr. Mary Gomez, FSJ.

He is survived by his son Frank Gomez and daughter in law Kathleen; two grandchildren, Declan and Maximilian; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
