Noemi Ruiz

Noemi Becerra Ruiz, 78, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, and grace. She was born on October 5, 1947, in Moody, Texas, to her beloved parents, Joe T. Becerra and Maria Reyna.

Noemi was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronnie Salinas; her grandson, Tyler Ruiz; 6 brothers and 4 sisters; and her precious Diamond Belle.

Noemi is survived by her husband of 57 years Alfredo Ruiz Sr. She is also survived by her children: Alfredo Ruiz Jr., Catherine Salinas, Freda Ruiz, and Tamara Ruiz; her grandchildren: Lacie J. Romo, Nick Romo, Rhianna Ruiz, Jonathan Gonzalez, Cierra Haynes, Sage Ruiz, Noah Pena-Ruiz, and Ethan Pena-Ruiz; along with ten great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her two sisters, Emilia Gonzalez and Ruth Sustaita.

Noemi retired from Marathon Power Technology after many dedicated years of service. Her work ethic, loyalty, and warmth made her not just a valued employee, but a cherished friend to many.

She was the heart of her family— happiest when surrounded by loved ones, enjoying good conversation, laughter, and delicious food. Known for her beautiful green eyes and impeccable style, Noemi always dressed to perfection. She could often be found with a cup of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and the company of those she loved.

Noemi will be remembered for her strength, her elegance, her humor, and her unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday November 25th from 6-8 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr. Waco, TX 76706. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Rumaldo Jimenez officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Noemi’s pallbearers will be her 6 grandchildren Lacie, Nick, Rhianna, Jonathan, Cierra, and Ethan. With honorary pallbearer being her nephew Raymond Ochoa Jr.
