Nina Rodriguez, age 58, of McGregor, passed away May 27, 2020 at Ascension Providence Hospital. Nina was born on November 7, 1961 and was the daughter of Pedro Cruz Rodriquez of Waco, Texas and Delia Truett of Kemp, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her father Pedro Rodriquez, step-mother Mary Salasar of Waco, Texas and step-father Steve Truett of Kemp, Texas.
Nina was loved by many friends and family. She had a special kind of heart that would lead her to lend a helping hand to those in need and loved. She was loving, thoughtful, blunt and ambitious to those who knew her best. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unconditional and she will be missed by her friends and family members.
Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Joseph Salazar, Jason Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez wife Monica Rodriguez, Kali Davis, Analia Rodriguez (adoptive granddaughter) and Delia Rodriguez (adoptive granddaughter) of Waco, Texas; grandchildren: Klarissa Salazar, Damion Rodriquez, Nevaeh Rodriguez, Ciara Salazar, Jazlyn Salazar, Arianna Rodriguez, Alanah Rodriguez, Jason L. Rodriguez, Joseph Salazar Jr., Raul A. Rodriguez, Joseph R. Salazar, and Ariel Rodriguez of Waco, Texas; her mother Delia Truett of Kemp, Texas; brothers and sisters: Pete Rodriquez of Nashville, Tennessee; Rita Bailey husband David Bailey of Crandall, TX and Anthony Rodriquez of Kemp, TX; step-brother and sister: Brian Truett of Bell Buckle, Tennessee and Stephaine Damm of North Carolina; and numerous cousins.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home on 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, Texas. A Celebration of Life and Remembrance will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Rosita Murillo and Julissa West: We wish to warmly thank you for your comforting words, support, and acts of kindness in our time of sadness.
