Nancy Puchtler

On November 17,2005, Nancy Louise Hayes Puchtler departed this earth after a long illness. She was born May 2, 1935 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Charles and Esther (Bower) Hayes. She married Daniel Conrad Puchtler on January 30, 1954 in Lawrence. Her marriage to Daniel was blessed with seven children and seventeen grandchildren, who blessed them with twenty-two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Allen. She will be sorely missed by her husband, Daniel, and her children-- Linda Hood of Virginia, Kenneth Puchtler of West Virginia and Jay Puchtler and Maribeth Foster of Winnsboro, Texas and Sherry Davis of Lenexa, Kansas and Patricia Ard of Waco, Texas. She was the foundation and bedrock -- always supportive and loving, of a very large family who live in many different states and pursue many different interests. A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco, Texas., on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will follow.
