Mary Jane Seniceros, age 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 20, 1963, in Temple, Texas, to Faustino Mendez Sr. and Juanita (Casarez) Mendez.
Mary was a loving, kind, and sweet woman who consistently placed the needs of others before her own. She had a servant’s heart and was always willing to help in any way she could. Her faith was central to her life; Mary loved the Lord deeply and kept her Holy Bibles open throughout her home as a reflection of her devotion.
She found great joy in worship, often playing the tambourine and singing praises to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Mary also enjoyed cooking, cleaning, organizing, and decorating, taking pride in creating a warm and welcoming home. One of her favorite pastimes was watching Little House on the Prairie.
Mary volunteered her time at Mighty Wind Worship Center, helping with backpack giveaways, and faithfully attended several churches alongside her family and friends. She especially loved simple comforts, with rice, beans, and chicken being her favorite foods.
Above all else, Mary cherished time spent with her daughter, family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love, faith, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sotero Seniceros; daughter, Rosie Rangel; and sister, Rosie Mendez.
Mary is survived by her sister, Alicia Mendez; brother, Faustino Mendez Jr.; sister, Margaret Mendez; daughter, Juanita Alicia Hernandez; son, Luis Martinez; son-in-law, Javier Rangel; grandchildren, Daniela Mendez, Sophia Hernandez, Samuel Hernandez, Julian Castillo, Hope Mendez, Esmeralda Rangel, Raquel Herrera, Sebastian Mendez; great-grandchildren, David Romero, Roseliee Ochoa, Melaya Ochoa, Aurielee Ochoa, Astro Ochoa, Emilia Perez, Manolo Martinez, Leilani Herrera; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
