Lori Ann Michell

Lori Ann (Maxey) Michell, 51, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Hewitt after a long illness. She was born September 14, 1972 in Arlington, Texas to Larry and Kathryn (Pennington) Maxey. Lori grew up in Temple, Texas graduating high school and going on to Abilene to attend Hardin Simmons University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. She married Scott Michell on August 10, 2001 on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Lori spent her career helping others as a social worker with several organizations. In her free time you could find her enjoying spending time with her children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Maxey.

Those left to cherish Lori’s memory include her husband of nearly 23 years, Scott; children, Brian Page, Jack Michell, Mark Michell, and Mary Michell; mother, Kathryn Maxey; mother-in-law, Mary Margaret Michell; and her fur baby, Daisy.
