Linda Grote Johnson

Linda Laberta Grote, 77, of Robinson, TX, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Visitation will be from 1 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Linda was born July 25, 1946, to Howard and Alberta (Reed) Plemons, in Waco, TX. She was strong in her Christian faith and had a loving and kind spirit. She had a smile that would light up any room. Linda was happiest when she was with her family. She enjoyed family nights, going dancing, was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed going out to eat. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Howard, and Alberta Plemons; sister, Selva Gilliland; and her two sons, Jeff Summers, and Jason Summers.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Johnson; daughter, Abby Callaway, and husband Kenny; daughter, Ardie Moore, and husband Carey; sister, Angie Lehman and fiancé Larry Hartsel; grandchildren, James Summers, Josh Gibson, Jack Summers, Emily Honea and Shelby Summers; along with her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
