Joyce Robinett

Joyce Robinett, age 89, a resident of Stoney Brook of Hewitt, died peacefully Sunday, August 6, 2023, surrounded by loving family and friends. A memorial visitation will be 5 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Joyce was born July 18, 1934, in Buna, Texas to Drew and Erma Jones Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter H. Turner; husband, Jerry Lynn Robinett; son, Arthur Wayne Clark; sister, Erma Drew Englehardt; sister, Johnnie Muckleroy; and sister, Frankie Herrin.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Rene’ Duffy; grandson, Grant Duffy, and wife Kimberly; great-grandson, Dawson Wayne Duffy; granddaughter, Dakota Clark-Blye and husband Adam; granddaughter, Jessica Clark; great-granddaughter, Savannah Clark; and grandson, Mark Hoozer.
Joyce worked at M&M Mars where she retired. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and was the most wonderful cook and nothing gave her more joy than cooking for her family and friends. There was always enough food for anyone who walked in at the last minute, and everyone was welcomed.
The family would like to give special thanks to Stoney Brook of Hewitt and to Bluebonnet Health and Hospice. She loved each and every one of the staff and friends at Stoney Brook and we are so thankful to have had them as part of our family.
