Josh Moore

Joshua (Josh) Dean Moore, 32, of Waco, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 in Waco, Texas. He was born at Hillcrest Hospital, Waco, Texas to Rick Moore and Michelle Sandifer on February 2, 1994.

Joshua Dean Moore left this earth to be with God. He was a courageous, loyal, loving son, grandson, brother, husband, nephew and friend to those who were blessed to be in his company. He will be so very missed. To say that Josh Moore went down some rough roads would be an understatement. Throughout his life, I believe he held tightly to his faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. His heart was like a lion. His loyalty to family and friends is second to none. If you really knew him, you loved him. He was so quick to help people he loved. But now he is Free !!!!!

Joshua 1:9 – I will be strong and courageous, I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.

Josh is preceded in death by his wife Brihanne, Paternal Grandfather Bill Moore, Maternal Grandfathers David Parker and John Hoover, Uncle Billy Dean Moore and Aunt Charlotte (Schatzie) Moore.

Survivors include Father Rick Moore, Mother Michelle Sandifer, Sister Rikki Bender, Nephew Elliott Bender, Neice Ramona Bender, Brothers Joseph Erskin and Dylan McAdams, Paternal Grandmother Virginia Moore and her husband John Moore, Maternal Grandmother Diana Hoover, Uncle Robert Moore, Aunt Becky Crockett and her husband Kenny Crockett, Cousins Casey, Mallory, Travis, Michael and McKenzie, Aunt JoAnn Martin, Cousin Michael Brandon, Aunt Sherry Hamilton, Cousins Cassandra, Christopher and Stephanie, Aunt Suzanne Sheets, Cousins Angela, Joseph, Jennifer and Jeremy, Aunt Renee Cranmer, Cousin Joseph and Uncle Brian Parker, Cousin Megan.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday, October 25th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Rr, Waco, Texas.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, October 26th at Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S 12th St, Waco, Texas. Services will be officiated by Katy Pustejovsky.

Pallbearers will be Robert Moore, Carl Sulberg, Scott Johnson, Darren Chapin, Terry Haberman and Father Rick Moore.

Memorials may be given to Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco, Texas.
