John Cox

John (Bubba) Cox left this Earth on October 7, 2021 to be with his family in Heaven. He was born on May 24, 1966 to James Cox and Linda Dyer in Waco, TX. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr., Waco. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th St., Waco with Pastor David Cozart officiating.

Bubba loved to fish and he loved collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. He also loved going to Corpus Christi with his family every year. He was a good Christian man and would help anyone he could.

He leaves behind his mother, Linda Johnson of Waco; his father, Jim Cox and wife, Kathy of Elizabethton, Tennessee; two sisters, Patti Barnett of Valley Mills and Tammy Johnson and husband, Jim of China Spring; several nieces and nephews- a very special nephew, Chris Jones; several aunts and uncles- and a special aunt, Sandy Dyer.

Bubba will be truly missed and with Jesus’ promise to us, we will all see him in Heaven and what a blessing it will be.
