Janie Ramirez Herrera, 59, of Waco passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Janie was born May 7, 1959 in Abilene to Manuel and Angelita Herrera. She worked as a hairstylist for more than 30 years and was an active member of the Church of the Open Door.
Janie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Concepcion and Tiburcia Herrera.
Janie is survived by her children, Shonta Aguilar, Johnny Colon, Joshua Colon; grandchildren, John Johnson, Amor Zuniga; 4 sisters; 7 brothers; her parents; and her uncle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
