James Glyn Vorderkunz

James Glyn Vorderkunz joined our Lord on January 5, 2024. A service celebrating his life will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9th, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Glyn was born March 2, 1960 in Waco, Texas to Jim and Jean Vorderkunz. He worked in various industries throughout his life, collecting a wealth of knowledge and experience that he would teach his children. This allowed him to spot mistakes that other people made.

He was loved by his children and was a sweet “Papa” to his grandchildren. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Vorderkunz; daughter, Katelyn Roberts and husband Josh; grandchildren, Bristol and Teagen; his mother, Jean Vorderkunz; brother, Mike Vorderkunz and wife Robin; sister, Lisa Houle and husband Steve; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
