James “Jim” L. Buehler, known to many as “Clean,” passed away peacefully at home in Bruceville, Texas on April 2, 2026, at the age of 81.

Jim was born on April 21, 1944, in Aurora, Missouri, to Raymond Buehler and Lucille Mattingly. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife, Loree Laster.

In 1963, Jim proudly joined the United States Air Force and honorably served his country for four years. Following his military service, he later made Texas his home, where he built a life centered on hard work, family, friendship, and community.

Jim owned and operated JCJ Tire Company and was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and the lasting relationships he built throughout the years. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco and found great joy in the open road as an avid Harley rider. Wherever he went, his personality, pride in presentation, and unmistakable character earned him the affectionate nickname “Clean.”

Jim is survived by his daughter, Jamie Donnell; his grandson, Kylan Bernardi; his sister, Janet Goodrum and husband Ken; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Viney and Demeka Hall. He also leaves behind many friends who will remember his loyalty, humor, and generous nature and spirit.
