Hope Ramirez

Hope Rene Reyes, 37, of Waco passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Drive, Waco.

Hope was born on June 10, 1984 to Connie and Jesse Reyes, Jr. in Waco, Texas. She enjoyed doing makeup, listening to music, and Halloween. Hope loved spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren, and three dogs, Ozzy, Gunner James, and Bella. She met David Ramirez, Jr. in 2000 and they have spent the last 21 years together.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bettie and Aubrey Koon, as well as her brother-in-law, Christopher Navarro.

Hope is survived by her husband, David Ramirez, Jr.; daughter, Tarina Ramirez; son, David Ramirez III; parents, Connie Zapata and Jesse Reyes, Jr.; grandchildren, Le’Vayah Cammon, Eli Ramirez, and Hayden Ramirez; siblings, Chris Reyes and wife, Priscilla Ochoa, Nikki Reyes, and Jesse Reyes III; nieces, Aniya Ochoa and Abbie Navarro; nephews, Chris Jr., Aaron, and Caleb Reyes; sisters-in-law, Rose and husband, Bo Torres, Pearl Perez and William Reams, Michelle Ramirez and Joe Torres, and Monica Ramirez; brother-in-law, Johnny Ochoa; along with numerous aunts, uncles, other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
