Henry Lee Mouton (Hank), age 90, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, June 30th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Michael Harrison II officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Waco Memorial Park. There will be a visitation from 2-4pm Sunday, June 29th at the funeral home.
Henry was born in Scammon, Kansas, to Martial Mouton and Thelma Fuller Mouton, and lived a life marked by service, hard work, and deep devotion to his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a navigator for 14 years, reflecting his commitment, discipline, and love of country. After his military career, Henry went on to manage a service station in the early 1970s, later worked at a car dealership, and eventually retired from AutoZone, where he was a respected and dependable sales clerk.
He is survived by his children, Denise Spicak, Mike Mouton, and Marty Mouton; his son-in-law, David Spicak; and his daughter-in-law, Margaret Mouton. He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Mouton and Martial David Mouton; and his sisters, Elizabeth Diaz and Virginia Spruill. Henry was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 21 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandfather to one great-great-grandchild, each of whom brought joy and pride to his life.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Mouton, his second wife, Marie Mouton, his daughter, Pam Kemp, and his sister, Kathleen Anderson.
Henry will be remembered for his gentle spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Smith, Kyle Spicak, Cliff Marion, Keyshon Marion, Kyree Marion, Michael Harrison.
