Gwendolyn Streeter

On Christmas morning, Sunday December 25, 2022 Gwendolyn (Gwen) Ann Streeter gained her angel wings and was reunited with her family that preceded her in death.

Visitation will be at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco, TX on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1 pm at Pecan Grove with burial immediately following at Oakwood Cemetery.

Gwen was born September 30, 1948, in Corpus Christi, TX to Jeannette and JB Chesson.

Gwen married the love of her life, Ramage (Ray) Streeter on January 14, 1967 and had two daughters Theresa (Teri) and Tammera (Tami). We have been so very blessed in having the best wife, mom and GiGi anyone could ever ask for.

Gwen worked most of her life in the education system and retired in 2018 with the last 25 years being with the Small Business Development Center at McLennan Community College.

Left to cherish and honor her memory is her husband of 55 years Ray Streeter; mother Jeannette Viken; daughters Theresa (Matt) Dillon and Tami (Patrick) Russell; grandchildren Courtney (Seth) Greger, Dakota Dillon, Rusty (Hannah) Russell, Ashley (Keith) Vinson; great-grandchildren Kyler, Ottilie, Kashton and Eva-Ann Greger, Erin and Liam Russell and Kaden, Addison and Austin Vinson; sisters Evelyn (Mate) Gentry, Sally Yanca, Nancy (Paul) Callais, Terri Collins, Crystal Rocha, Trudy Eskew, Judy (Floyd) Duplantis, Linda (Harold) Adams, Lydia (Cleave) Sonnier and numerous family and friends.

Gwen is preceded in death by her beloved Grandmother and Grandfather (Ma & Pa), father Terry Viken; mother-in-law Flora (Jo) Streeter and father-in-law Jack Streeter; sister & brother-in-law Betty and Carson Wofford, sister Joan Kay Precise, brother Orville Viken, brother Carl Chesson, brother-in-law George Eskew, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mercile and Max Duggan, brother-in-law Aaron Streeter, and grandsons Broc Louis Streeter and Matthew Dillon.
