Evelyn Faye Ellis

Evelyn Faye Ellis (Lebkowsky), 82, of McGregor TX, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 15th, 2026.

Evelyn was born on June 27th, 1943 in Otto,TX to Evelyn (Curry) and William Robert Lebkowsky.

She graduated from University High School. In her younger years Evelyn had a love for Water Skiing. Throughout her life she had a love for her dogs, fashion, horseback riding, trail rides, and traveling.

She had a special love for her family, especially her husband Howard Frazier Ellis, whom she married on July 4th, 1980. After 42 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in September 2022.

She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter Ronda Zmeskal and husband Thomas; stepchildren, Teresa Manuel and husband Joe, Deana Baker and husband Brent, Larry Ellis and wife Andrea; siblings, Barbara Williams and husband Willie, Marcile McCrary, Bill Lebkowsky, Ernest Lebkowsky; grandchildren, Kim Vela and husband, John, Sheila Cross and significant other, Tisha Sykora and fiancé, Justin, Justin Lowe and wife, Lexie; as well as many precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her family, extended family, and many friends.
