Eugene Dale McBrine

Eugene Dale McBrine, 77, of Waco, TX passed away with peace and serenity on June 20, 2025.

Born October 23, 1947 in Dover, Delaware, Dale was a carpenter and contractor by trade, working in both Delaware and later in Texas until his retirement. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army having served his country for 10 months in Vietnam.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Kathleen Belle McBrine of Smyrna, Delaware, first wife Ava Jean McBrine of Waco, TX, and brother Ronnie Council of Clayton, Delaware.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Sally McBrine of Waco, TX, sons Andrew, Michael, and Jonathan (Sarah), stepson Chris Laseter (Christy), sisters MaryAnn Schmidt and Kathy (Smoke) Steele, both of Clayton, DE, grandchildren Ava, Jackson, Dean, Darrell (Raelin), David, and Raniya, great-grandson Mason, several nieces and nephews in Delaware, and many extended family members.

Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco, TX and will be led by Dale’s longtime friend, Pastor Danny Dawson.
