On February 28, in the year of our Lord 2016, Elaine Foster Deleon went to be with her Savior in her sleep. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church 1207 N. Old Robinson Road, Waco, with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.
Elaine was a 1974 graduate of Richfield High School. She worked at Olan Mills until they closed and then worked at Central Freight Lines, McLane Corp, and Portable Rental Solutions of Waco. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Elaine was the person who would do anything for anybody, but would tell you “don’t mess with my man, my kids, or my money”. She never met a stranger; she loved her pets, which she thought of as her three little girls, Sydney, Riley, and Isabell, her baby. Elaine was fiercely protective of her family no matter the cost; she always had a smile or a laugh for anyone who needed it. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents William R. and Merian Sell Foster. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Johnny Deleon; sons, William Jacob French and Tanner Dalton Foster; two brothers, William K. Foster, Jr., and Thomas E. Foster; along with many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Elaine's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, or K-LOVE Radio, www.klove.com.
For my wife – To the world you may be one person; to one person you may be the world.
