Eileen Doris Gilley, 80 of Beverly Hills, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2005 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Monday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr, Waco.
Mrs. Gilley was born on Oct. 20, 1925 in Troy, TX to Albert A. and Tena Belk Sonnenburg. She was married to the late Doyle Gilley. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church, and she enjoyed working with her church, the schools, and local charities. She always helped all that were in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Marsha Howard; and a sister, Lucille Berry.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Power and husband Billy of Robinson; brothers Ray Sonnenburg and wife Sydonia of Ft. Worth and Edwin Sonnenburg and wife Bobbie of Everman; sister Ruth Lemons and husband James of Ft. Worth; grandchildren Shay Ezelle and husband Jon, Alicia White and husband J., and Zach Power; great grandchildren Garrett, Connor, and Jack Ezelle; and her best friend, Carol Sykora.
