Diane Mosley Gutierrez, born December 3, 1953, in Waco, Texas, passed away on June 27, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Mosley Jacobs, and father, Jess Mosley, both of Waco, TX; brothers, Jerry Gallimore, Joe Mosley, and Walter Mosley; and sisters, Juanita Anderson, Verna Khoury, and Jessie Greer.
Diane is survived by her loving sisters: Mazie Crozier Miller and husband Jerry Miller, Doris Mosley, and Delores McGaughy. She is also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews. Mazie Sue and Chrissy, her honorary granddaughters, were truly the apple of her eye. Diane’s beloved four-legged companion, Blake Shelton, was her constant and faithful friend.
A proud and dedicated nurse, Diane served at Hillcrest Hospital for 35 years as a Registered Nurse. Her compassion and tireless service earned her the “Shining Star” recognition from her peers—a testament to the care and comfort she brought to so many. She worked three jobs to put herself through college, a reflection of her determination, resilience, and selflessness.
Diane was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
A memorial service honoring Diane’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Moldbreaker Fellowship (MBF), located at 7509 Fairway Rd., Woodway, TX 76712. Officiating will be Dr. Thomas Frazier and Dr. Mike Simons.
