David Louis Robinson Sr.

David Louis Robinson, 62, of Waco, passed away on December, 10 2025 in Waco, Texas. He was born in Garland, Texas to Wilbern and Ruby Robinson on June 28, 1963. He married Stacey Neville on December 7, 1982 in Rockwall, Texas. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1981. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for various companies over the years including the City of Mesquite, TxDOT, and H&B Contractors. David was well known for being a hard worker and for his ability to operate any machine he sat in. If anyone was curious if he was the best operator on the job, they only need wait a few minutes, and he would tell them. David also had a lifelong love of fishing and loved to play horseshoes, darts, and pool.

David was preceded in death by his parents Wilbern and Ruby Robinson and his brother Wilbern “Skip” Robinson.

David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Stacey Robinson; daughter Amber Robinson and husband John, son David Robinson Jr.; siblings Brenda McKenzie, Robert Robinson and Philip Robinson; 3 grandchildren, Kyndal Stone and husband Michael, Kelsee Snyder, and Jake Robinson; 2 great grandchildren Valkyrie and Vylee Stone; and close friend Scott Diamond

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, Tx, from 6-8 pm.
