Danny Kelly

Danny Ray Kelly, 66, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. Visitation for friends and family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 26 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.

Danny Ray Kelly was born in Post, Texas on October 24, 1955 to Sterling and Lorine Kelly. He graduated from University High School in 1974, followed by technical college where he received his degree in mechanics. Danny was loved and well-known by many for his big heart, generosity, and his hard work ethic. He enjoyed helping people, working on vehicles, and there was nothing he couldn’t build or fix. You could always find him in his shop, and he loved to talk about how proud he was of his beautiful daughters.

He was preceded in death by his father Sterling.

Danny is survived by his mother, Lorine; siblings, Diane, Terry, Perry, and Dolores; daughters, Kristen and Kimberly; and his beloved dog, Harley.
