Connie Lynn Frazar

Connie Lynn Frazar ,70, of Waco, passed away on Sunday, October 18,2026. Graveside services will beheld at 11:00am., Thursday October 22,2026 at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor Billy Edwards officiating.

Connie was born on January 14,1956 to James Homer and Evelyn Marie (Meador) Holmes. She graduated from University High School in 1974 and later attended McLennan Community College. She retired from American Income Life Insurance after 44 years of dedicated service. In late 1991, Connie and a couple of friends attended a Travis Tritt concert one night in Belton and that's where she met a funny young, red-headed soldier named Mark Frazar. The happy couple married a couple of short months later on February 8,1992. Their love lasted until his passing on October 18,2019. Connie adored her family and especially loved her nephew, J.R., and niece, Sara, whom she loved as her own. She loved her football and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite past times included spending time with her family and friends, years of crafting with her mother, especially at Easter time making Easter baskets, having friends over swimming in their pool and many nights playing Spades.

Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mark Frazar, her father, Homer Holmes, her brother Steven Holmes, her beloved nephew, J.R. Burt and both sets of grandparents.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Holmes, her sister, Cathy Burt, her niece and nephew-in-law, Sara and Randell Kyle, and great nephews, Noah and Richard Kyle. Also left to cherish her memory is her lifelong best friend, Kathy and her very close cousins, Jennifer and Jeffrey.
