Christopher Zenon Gonzales “Boo Boo”, age 69, of Waco, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Christopher was born on August 26, 1956, in Waco, Texas, to Louis Sr. and Victoria (Valdez) Gonzales. Known for his signature phrase, “Trust Your Hands,” he inspired generations of athletes and students to believe in themselves both on and off the field. Christopher was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle who found great joy in attending the games, performances, and activities of those he considered his “kids”. On June 26, 2008, he married his last love, Diana Martinez, in Waco, Texas. Together, they shared a deep commitment to family and treasured every opportunity to support and celebrate their grandchildren. Christopher’s legacy of kindness, guidance, and unwavering dedication to the youth of Waco will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.
