Charles Lee Fenske

Charles Lee Fenske, 83, passed away on September 21, 2026. He was born January 3, 1943, in Riesel, Texas, to Edwin and Mable (Lehrman) Fenske.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later enjoyed a long career with Cardinal Health, where he worked until his retirement. Charles loved to cook and grill and was especially known for his brisket. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his family. Family get-togethers were some of his favorite occasions, and he always enjoyed having everyone together. Charles loved his family deeply, and the time he shared with them meant more to him than anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Mabel (Lehrman) Fenske; his daughter, Lori Ann Fenske; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Fenske.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa Fenske; Maria’s children, Christine Hunter and husband Jeff, and Waco F. Zirkle; his brother, Wayne Fenske; grandson, Vincent Zirkle and wife Angie, great-granddaughter, Indi Zirkle; and his nephew, Jeffrey N. Fenske; niece, Jennifer Miller; and great-niece, Madison B. Miller.

He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
