Sue Parsons, 49 of Golinda, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005 at St. Catherine's in Waco. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Assembly of God in Robinson. Visitation will be form 8 to 10 PM Tuesday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Sue was born on May 18, 1954 in Waco, Tx. She grew up in the Waco area. She married Stuart Parsons, Sr. in 1971 and they resided in Golinda for the remainder of her life. Together, she and Stuart worked hard to build Parsons Roofing into a successful roofing company. Sue's number one priority in life was spending time with and caring for her family. She was an exceptional mother to her two sons, Stuart, Jr. and Shannon, as well as an outstanding grandmother to her five grandchildren, Ashton, Trey, Payden, Abby, and Elizabeth. Along with being so special to her family, Sue touched many lives around her. She was a true and reliable friend to many. She spent countless hours and efforts in providing support or whatever was needed to her friends. There was nothing Sue would not do to help out her family and friends. She was a compassionate, thoughtful and generous person that will be missed by many. You could always depend on Sue no matter the situation or time of day. She would be there.
Sue was preceeded in death by her father, James Jester and her mother, Mickey Messerli of Waco.
She is survived by her husband, Stuart Parsons, Sr. of Golinda, her sons and daughters-in-law, Stuart Parsons, Jr. and Jennifer Parsons of Chalk Bluff, and Shannon and Dena Parsons of Golinda, her niece, Renee Parsons, and her grandchildren. Along with many, many friends.
