Billy Charles Williams

July 13, 1940 — March 17, 2026

Waco

Our beloved Billy Charles Williams entered into the glory of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Billy was a man of many talents and trades throughout his life, but his greatest calling and the one he cherished most was serving as a pastor for many years. He lived his life with unwavering faith, devotion, and a deep love for Jesus Christ. To know Billy was to know his love for the Lord; it was evident in his words, his actions, and the way he lived each day. Billy was a true student of the Bible and a faithful servant who never missed an opportunity to share the Gospel. He had a gift for connecting with people; he truly never met a stranger. His warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit made everyone feel welcome and valued. He was a man of integrity, compassion, and humility, and his life was a reflection of his faith. Above all, Billy was deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, a proud father, a cherished grandfather and great grandfather, and a caring brother. He poured his heart into those he loved, always offering guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support. His legacy of faith, love, and dedication will live on through the many lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his three children, Shirley Dean Williams; his parents, Pat and Avis Williams; his brothers, Bob Williams, Jim Williams, Ken Williams, and Don Williams; and his sisters, Laverne Stewart, Christine Watkins, and Sue Arp.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Alice Williams; his daughter, Melisa Dieterich and her husband Chris; his sons, Dennis Williams and his wife Kristi, and Danny Williams and his wife Glenda; and his stepchildren, Lisa Murphy and her husband Michael, Linda Peebles and her husband Chad, and Jon Little and his wife Melissa. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Emily and her fiancée Cody, Paige and her husband Jamie, Kayleigh and her husband Charlie, Jon, Landon and his wife Karleigh, Collin and his wife Lexi, Kelsey, Abby, Kylie, Jillian, Hannah, Faith, Rachel, Jake, Kayla, Kinsley, JJ, and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Braylee, Dalynn, Graham, Luke, Baker, Hallie, Sophia, Christian, and Chase and his cherished great-grandson, Montgomery, expected soon; and his sisters, Carol Nash and Delores Joles. Billy’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service.

He ran his race well, remained faithful to the end, and has now received his eternal reward. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
