An angel has ascended to heaven and received her wings on Monday, February 7, 2022. Beverly Kay (Makovy) Hudson was born November 30, 1943 to Joseph and Gloria (Kelly) Makovy in Pasadena, Texas.
Kay is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mylie Hudson; daughters, Kathy Johnson and Kelly Halewyn; son, Chris Hudson; granddaughters, Amber Farrington, Tonya Steiger, Britney Brown, Alexis Hudson; grandsons, Dalton Halewyn and Dillan Hudson; great-granddaughters, Alexis Steiger, Hailey Steiger, Laikyn Brown and Madison Brown. Kay’s sisters, Gloria Warrick and Judy Sieve will dearly miss her, along with many nieces and nephews.
Kay loved vacationing in Galveston, collecting antique lamps and furniture, and growing flowers and shrubs. She raised and loved three Old English Sheepdogs over the years.
It was Kay’s wish to have no services, but to be remembered as she lived.
