Betty Ann Glaze, 91, of Hewitt, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 9 at Hewitt Community Church with Pastor Ken Riley officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rosemound Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, December 8 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Betty was born on November 6, 1934, in Falls County, Texas, to Henry Emmitt Fuller and Louise Francis Wetzel Fuller. She spent several years working as a receptionist in an eye doctor’s office, where her warm smile and caring spirit welcomed patients daily. Beyond her work, she lived a life defined by faith, service, and compassion.

A devoted member of Hewitt Community Church, Betty was deeply involved in her church family. She loved volunteering and was especially active in missionary work, both locally and on mission trips. Her servant’s heart touched countless lives.

Betty was also gifted with her hands—she enjoyed crocheting and quilting, and for many years lovingly provided handmade baby blankets to the hospital, bringing comfort to newborns and joy to their families. In her free time, Betty loved eating out, going on cruises, hunting, and collecting angels, which reflected her gentle and faithful nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Lipsey; husband, J.P. Glaze; sister, Lil Lipsey; nephew, Billy Gene Lipsey.

Betty is survived by her niece, Larraine Turner and husband Curtis; great-niece, Sabrina Guy and husband Chris; great-niece, Samantha Turner; nephew, Jimmy Lipsey and wife Tessie; niece, Darlene Brannon and husband Harold; sisters, Linda Guthrie and Brenda Rubalcaba; along with several other nieces and nephews.

Betty will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of service, joy, and a life well lived.
