Bessie Alice Sharpless

Bessie Alice Sharpless of Robinson, TX passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, days shy of her 88^th birthday. Honoring Bessie’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. A memorial service for close family and friends may be held at a later date.  
 Bessie was born to Robert and Della Jo Henderson on April 16, 1936.  She was the youngest of seven children.  She attended Waco High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for different businesses around Waco, retiring from Bestco Metal Works after 10 years of service.     She was an avid gardener, had an affection for rabbits and was an expert Italian Crème Cake baker.  
 Bessie is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
 Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Adams and wife Rene; daughter, Joy Santor and husband Mark; granddaughter, Kelly Poehls and husband, Ryan; grandsons, William Cody Adams and Robert Adams; great-grandchildren, Avery and Patrick Poehls; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 The family would like to thank Regent Care Center and Bluebonnet Health Care for their care of Bessie during this past year.
