Annie Lou Pfeifer, age 81, of Chilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21st at Chilton Cemetery with Milton Farney officiating. There will be a visitation from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Annie Lou was born on March 3, 1945, in Waco, Texas, to Virgil Howard and Ella Mae (Choat) Case. She grew up in the Waco area and attended University High School. Annie Lou later made Chilton her longtime home, where she built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories.
Annie Lou had a love for the simple and beautiful things in life. She especially enjoyed watching hummingbirds and collecting owls. She had a particular fondness for yellow roses. But above all else, Annie Lou treasured her family. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her grandchildren, and the memories they shared together will remain a lasting part of her family's hearts.
Annie Lou will be remembered for her love of family, her appreciation for the beauty of nature, and the special place she held in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Allen Gilchrist; husband, John Pfeifer; and great-grandson, Bentleé Kade.
Annie Lou is survived by her children, BeLinda Quiroz and spouse, Jana Battle, Jayme Gilchrist, and Jack Morrison and spouse; grandchildren, Christopher Farney, Misty Howard and spouse, Ashley Cox and spouse, Alexis Gilchrist, Dieondre Jenkins, Alivia Waters, Katie Morrison and spouse, Austin Morrison, and Tucker Morrison; along with 18 great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by her family and friends for years to come.
