Annie Louise Billings, 79, beloved wife, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, received her final reward on Sunday, June 7, 2026, after succumbing to cancer. The family will hold visitation at Pecan Grove Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 6pm till 8pm. Funeral services will also be held at Pecan Grove on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10am.
Ann, as she was known to most, was born in Waco, Texas on November 14, 1946 to George Woodrow Willis and Hazel Louise Burch Willis. Ann met her "handsome husband" on a blind date and instantly fell in love. They were married on November 16, 1963 and spent the following 57 wonderful years in love and raising a family before finally losing Bill to cancer in 2021. Ann's life was always about family, friends, and God. She is survived by four children; Eric (Janie) Billings, Christina Ness (Jerry Schroeder), Barbara (Brian) Cowles, Timothy (Melissa) Billings. Ann and Bill were blessed with seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ann is also survived by four brothers; Sam (Loretta) Willis, Dan (Peggy) Willis, Emmett Willis, Ricky Willis, and sister, Jeri (Phillip) Quintero. Even though she is gone from this earth, she will live on in each person she ever touched.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, and a sister, Wanda Weaver.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Judes in Ann's name.
The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful staff of Baylor Scott and White Hospice. We could not have granted Momma's final wishes without your dedicated help. Lexie, Molly, Sharon, Cindy, and anyone else that made her final days easier, you are all God's angels!
