Andrea Garcia-Quinones

Andrea Garcia Quinones, “Granny”, 78, of Waco, TX, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Deacon Jessie C. Garza as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m., at the funeral home.

Andrea was born December 31, 1942, in Waco, TX, to Domingo and Mary Garcia. She was a painter and she enjoyed listening to music, cooking, gardening, and sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her great-granddaughters, dressing up and going out to eat, shopping and joking around with good laughs. Andrea will be truly missed by the joys of her life, Victor and her great-granddaughters.

Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Domingo Garcia; her mother, Mary Garcia Hernandez; brother, Robert Garcia; sister, Patricia Rivera; and her dog, Nikki, who she loved dearly.

She is survived by her brothers, Arello, Jr., Sammy, Ernest, and Carlos Hernandez; sisters, Matilda Rivera and Connie Hernandez; children, Belinda, Margaret, and David Quinones; grandchildren, Johnny Ray, Sr., Anthony, and Janie Martinez; great-grandchildren, Laticia, Stephanie, and Cecilia Rodriquez, Miranda, and Johnny Ray, Jr. Martinez; and Richard Melendez, Jr.; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild; along with her beloved special friend, Victor Martinez.
Pallbearers are Johnny Ray Martinez, Sr., Michael Anthony Martinez, and Paul Rodriguez, Jr.
