Alan Herman Kruse, 69, of Hewitt, Texas went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, with Pastor Ken Riley officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to service beginning at 1 p.m.
Alan was born July 3, 1952 in Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended Papillion High School, graduating in 1970. Alan will be remembered for his sense of humor and as a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed vacationing in national parks, especially the Black Hills.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary; and father-in-law, Ronald Schafer.
Alan is survived by his wife, Ronda; daughter, Karri (Timothy) Taggart; son, Jesse (Meagan) Kruse; six grandchildren; siblings: Kathy (Mike) Crawford, Alyce Kruse, Pam Kruse, Jeff (Gretchen) Kruse, and Sandy Myers; and mother-in-law Margaret Schafer.
